This Crianza comes garnet red in the glass, medium density and sparkling.
On the nose, a very typical Rioja, straight out of the textbook. Lots of red berries, plus vanilla, forest floor and leather. Very rich bouquet that flows out of the glass in a very stimulating way. Really full-bodied on the palate, one would like to use the word "savoury". Beautiful, ripe fruit, fine tannins, and a fairly fresh acidity that gives the wine such a drinkable flow.
A very nice, uncomplicated Rioja Crianza that goes excellently with beef or grilled dishes, but also with rich vegetarian cuisine.
