The 13th century Ormanni estate is located right in the heart of Chianti, between the towns of Poggibonsi and Castellina. The ormanni property has been owned by the Brini Batacchi family for the last 200 years and covers an area of 242 hecters of land, 68 of which are vineyards dedicated solely to the cultivation of Sangiovese.
Light red-ruby colour, lovely and fresh with aromas of red fruits like cherries and strawberries. This wine is very versatile with food, from starters of cured meats, to tomato based pasta dishes, and even slow roasted meat dishes.
