Region: Knights Valley, Sonoma County, California
Vintage: 2019
Composition: Petite Sirah, Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petit Verdot
History: Uniquely linked to the exciting world of professional sports car racing and earning victories, racing around a track at 180 miles per hour at the highest levels of professional competition requires extreme focus, attention, and a drive for perfection. Professional race car driver and team owner Kevin Buckler has it with winemaking, too. Following the legendary success of his professional racing team, The Racers Group (TRG), Kevin and his wife Debra opened Adobe Road Winery in the heart of Sonoma County in 2002. Their goal is to produce wines that exemplify the true essence of the regions of California’s most revered viticulture.
Tasting Notes:
Aromas of black cherries, licorice, and deeply toasted oak transition seamlessly into flavors of ripe plum and crushed blackberry, finishing with sculpted tannins and accents of violet.
