A wine with an intense garnet colour, somewhat opaque, with a fragrant and very expressive nose, with aromas of plums, blackberries and currants, flowers (violet) and toasted and spicy nuances. The palate is fresh, frank and powerful, with notable structure, sweet tannins well polished by the wood and good persistence. Prima is 100% Tinta de Toro from vineyards between 5 and 25 years old located in different plots in San Román, Villaester and Morales. For the production of this wine, the vineyard plots that due to their characteristics do not fit with the character of San Román, more mineral and exuberant, are used.
