The Montalcino area has enjoyed exponential growth in fame in recent decades, although in our opinion not all local interpretations tell the area in an authoritative manner like that of Riccardo Illy, owner of Podere le Ripi, and sensitive connoisseur of that uncontaminated heritage in the municipality of Castelnuovo dell'Abate. In the vineyard, they work with passion, dedication and an eye constantly turned to yields and plant density, so much so that they find themselves in the presence of one of the densest vineyards in the world. “Amore e Magia” Brunello di Montalcino by Podere le Ripi is produced with pure Sangiovese Grosso grapes, with vineyards located in Castelnuovo dell'Abate, on the south-east side of the denomination, which rest on clayey-calcareous soils. In the cellar, we continue with spontaneous alcoholic fermentation in oak barrels and long macerations on the skins.
